Nutritional Advice: Butternut squash is a good source of fibre, vitamin A, C, E and B vitamins. They are high in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and zinc. Ricotta cheese contains calcium and provides a range of other essential nutrients; vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin K, riboflavin, niacin, selenium, zinc and phosphorus. Flaxseeds are high in omega 3 fats and is commonly used to improve digestive health. Sage is loaded with antioxidants and helps to reduce blood sugar levels. It is also used to help relieve the symptoms of menopause and a small amount of sage equates to 10% of your daily recommended dose of vitamin K.
